Take me out to the ballgame (Corndog Style!)...

So, Scott loves baseball and I do too! So, I agreed to go see LSU (aka-Corndogs!) play FL in the SEC baseball tournament for a date night. Scott is a HUGE LSU fan, so it was the least I could do, right? :)

Scott got a sweet parking pass..right by the LSU bus...

And got us AWESOME seats...that just so happened to be by the LSU dugout

So I have a confession (I told Scott first!)...baseball players are SO hot!! Great seats Honey!!!
(He told me to take this...the "next upcoming MLB"..per Scott!)

I really enjoyed watching baseball and I have to admit, I'm glad Scott enjoyed watching his favorite team in our own backyard!
Funny story - this lady in the picture drove Scott CRAZY during the game. She was an obnoxious FL fan. Every time Scott would cheer a LSU guy on during a play, if FL did better, she'd almost taunt him! Scott SWORE he'd say something to her, but he took the upper road. But I did have my camera ready, just in case! :)

The quote of the night went as follows:
Scott - "That food smells good!"
Lindsey - "Yeah, it smells kinda like onions!"
Scott - "Come on, that has NOTHING to do with LSU corndogs!"
Lindsey - "Defensive about the corndog thing, aren't we?"
Scott - "Yes!!!"

We had a great time watching LSU pull out a win over #1 seed FL! We had so much fun that we are going back this afternoon to watch AL play Ole Miss and stay around for LSU vs. Vandy! I'm pulling for both LSU and AL so we can play one another!!

Spring Break PC Style!!

Last week, me and my family took Thursday through Sunday and went to Panama City Beach! Vacations are no longer the same for me...it's no longer jello-shots and foam parties (haha..not really!..kinda..), but it's sand castles and coating kids in sun screen!

We stayed at a fairly new resort, Laketown Wharf. It's right across from Pineapple Willy's and the beach. It has 5 pools, shops (that unfortunately are empty), a cabana restaurant and the rooms were great!

Right as we pulled up, we saw this...

Dad LOVED the beach!! It's like he wanted to tell us, "Have fun!"

The little kids had lots of fun......

... playing in the pool and at the beach

.... riding Go Carts

...jumping on trampolines

..getting new hair dos

..playing Wii

..shopping & eating..

....and sleeping in bunk beds, and playing mini-golf! And why don't I have a picture of me beating everyone at Mini Golf? I don't know, but I'm also happy to report that on Haley's first time to play mini golf, she got a hole-in-one at her first green! Oh...and the adults had lots of fun too! :)

And who goes to the beach without making pictures on the beach???

..And make kissy faces!!

..And take naked baby butt pictures!!

We had a great time! Looking forward to many more family trips in the future!!

Out of the Mouth of Babes

{Eating at Pineapple Willy's on the pier in Panama City Beach}

Haley - "Daddy, why is that guy wearing panties?" (While gasping and pointing at a guy wearing a man bikini)
Scott - "Oh, those aren't panties, that's a banana hammock!"

...I'm worried about her questions that will follow! :)

Out of the Mouth of Babes

So, last night Haley had her school performance (more info to come!)....

I was getting her dressed and put her in a pair of footless tights. I told her, "These tend to fall down to your ankles, so before you perform, make sure to pull them up!"... "Ok", she mumbled!

As she took the stage to perform, the child lifts her dress up and starts pulling up her tights.... Maybe I should have clarified how soon before the performance... Love it!

Scott desperately needs your opinion...

Ok, Scott asked that I poll the audience. Scott really wants a pair of the Sketchers Shape Up shoes....I'll save my opinion of them... What do YOU think about these shoes?

What do you think of these shoes?

Weekend Recap!

So, unlike my glory days, my weekends are no longer spent sleeping in until 1pm, eating breakfast, and snoozing until 3pm. Here is my weekend recap, be envious:

Friday night - I was so excited to go and order my wedding bands!! Scott is so sweet to buy me two of them: one for the wedding and one for my birthday that is two days before the wedding! One of my Dad's very close friends owns the jewelry store where Scott has bought my rings. Dad delivered to him for 20+ years, so I thought it was very appropriate when I saw this pull up...
I love you too Daddy! I'm glad you approve of these rings too! :) (See, Dad was secretly involved in approving of my engagement ring too!)

And of course, I do what most 24-yr-olds do on Friday night.. GROCERY SHOP!! See, I'm not your average grocery shopper. I consider grocery shopping a mission, one which I prepare for about an hour to conquer! I'm happy to report I spent $72 and my bottom line savings was $68! Not to shabby!

Saturday: Haley had a league tournament Saturday. She played in games earlier on in the week that determined her team's seed. They played single elimination, and sadly (kinda..), they lost by one. See, I'm sad they lost, but I was glad not to have to spend all day at the ballpark! The last game was definitely bittersweet! Afterwards, Scott and I went and picked out his wedding ring! I'm glad to see all of these little odds and ends begin to start tying up! I'm glad he opted out of the diamonds and excess bling!

During the afternoon, Scott just so happened to start driving towards my sister's house...not to spend time with my sweet, adorable nephews, he wanted to play her Mother's Day present..the Wii. I took a nap while he...

..hit a few rounds of golf...and...

..boxed like Evander Holyfield.

After all that excitement, we wanted to eat where we could sit outside, so we headed to The Depot and enjoyed watching the waterfall!

We then rented two movies:

(1) Law Abiding Citizen - 1 1/2 thumbs up! It was a great plot, very intense and thought-provoking. But, a little gory for me!

(2) The Time Traveler's Wife - I will admit, I rented this because of the girl who plays in The Notebook....awful! Don't waste your money!

Sunday - I have to confess, I've been fighting a cold so I didn't make it to church. I slept in and later, we went to Scott's nephew's birthday party! It was great until the rain came in! But the kids had fun in this...

It was a fun weekend! Happy Monday to each of you! Hope the week goes by fast and you are feeling a little bit of summer wherever you are...We sure are!!
